Humor

help. It’s for sure! In a market that most organizations and their employees feel the intricacies of Russian economy – a key ingredient for businesses and event planners searching in their keynote speaker is the ability to make people laugh. Yes, they want results. Yes, they want change. Yes, they want motivation. But they usually include that before any of these things can happen – they gotta get their team members or audience to sit, read and trust the person on the scene and one of the best ways to do that is through humor.
To learn more about why humor works and how a speaker can still funny deliver a powerful message, I sat down with power motivational speaker – Connie Podesta.
Julie: Connie when did you first know that to be a funny speaker was one of your talents?
Connie: It’s easy. I started doing comedy at 14 and never looked back. I remember coming into a new high school when I was 14. It was quite lonely and I really wanted to make new friends. One day the blue, one of the cheerleaders asked me to head to a party at his house. I was surprised she even noticed me. Later that day I was changing clothes in the locker room girls back where nobody could see me and a bunch of girls walked in. They were talking about the party and someone mentioned that I had .. None of them knew who I was. But then one of them said, “Oh, Sharon is in some of his classes. She told me that Connie is so funny, she will laugh all night. “I knew then that I had not only been invited to a party – I was” hired “for my first comedy concert ! And from that moment I made the term “Chairman funny” part of my CV

Julie. Connie is a great story – and I heard you – You are funny, so I “m glad the title stuck! May be a “speaker funny” is in your DNA! Now, tell me more about why humor is so important. Do not you think that most organizations today are dealing with serious issues and would think that humor would be distracted from their desire to get people motivated andConnie: Yes, I agree with this – however, Many organizations completely underestimated the power of humor. They may feel they dilute the message and remove the seriousness of the issues to be discussed. However, my research shows that humor – is the right course – does exactly the opposite. I can not even imagine trying to tackle some difficult issues, I am invited to respond, but my ability to bring humor in every situation. Let’s face it – the public can not make slideshows, statistics and charts for so long – right?
Comedy

is the vehicle through which I can get an audience to relax, open, think more clearly, and give up some defenses that stand in the way they grow and learn new things, stay competitive, increasing sales, driving more efficiently and live the life they want and deserve. I think humor is an absolute key if an organization wants their powerful messages have long-term results.Julie: How can an organization ensure that when they hire a “speaker funny” – they will also be able to have their audience to come away with powerful action items, strategies, ideas and tools that will help them achieve longer term. Your thoughts

Connie: First, take a look at their website. If “funny” comes first – then you might not have the right speaker to deliver powerful messages of long-term you want. And make no mistake, there are times when funny is that anyone would like a presentation after dinner. And I am very well do that. But I still want my comedy to have so much more bang for your buck! I want to be the glue that holds the tools and strategies bring together.

Second, pick up the phone! I always recommend to have a very open dialogue with any speaker you are considering for your event. Be sure that when you talk to them that you communicate your needs and expectations of organizations. Go ahead and tell them you want a funny speaker to help lift the spirits and motivate your team, but let them know you want more than that. As I said, comedy can be an extremely powerful vehicle to deliver an incredible message if used in the right way.
I always tell my clients and potential clients that if my humor is a great for a big speech – my humor has a purpose. I know people laugh when they learn more, remember, commit to more, and are more willing to tackle more difficult issues that stand in the way they achieve the results they want. Is not that the very purpose of delivering an important message that remains in the minds of the audience to be used later for them to use their ideas to influence others in a positive way? This effect is amazing trickle-down

Julie: I love this -. “The humor with a purpose.” Clearly not everyone agrees with this well as they should. I know that some meeting planners are afraid to hire someone who is regarded as a speaker funny. They may have had some bad experiences with speakers that were inappropriate or less politically correct. Can you share the fine line between being funny and being rude or inappropriate platform

Connie: I do not think there is a “fine” line – I think that there is never a situation where? even a “funny” speaker should use humor inappropriately. If people want to pay money and go to comedy clubs where this type of humor is very common, is their business. But in a business, humor business environment must be professional, appropriate, fun, useful and comfortable for everyone in the audience. That’s why I chose “corporate comedy” on “Comedy Club”. I show that it is possible to do one hour of comedy to say or do something inappropriate or uncomfortable. That, to me, is real comedy

Julie: I agree! How do you feel is the secret to do all these things at once?
Connie: The secret is really to be a master in the genre of comedy where people laugh for one reason – because they say: “I did it!” Or “I said that! ” or “I was in this exact situation!” I do not know about you – but I hate comedy where people laugh, but inside, they think, “But it’s really not funny at all.” My training in psychology certainly gives me a huge advantage. Know what motivates people to help me better help them to laugh while they learn, relate to stories or strategies that I share and are the solutions I propose. They laugh because as I say, it

Julie “oh so true!” What about people who do presentations themselves? What advice do you have to help them incorporate more humor in content

Connie: First, let me tell you this – copies of cartoons on slides and show them to the audience to laugh is not humor. Humor comes from within. C ‘ is why I have always loved Seinfeld. It is never inappropriate. He did not tell jokes. He just tells stories that make people laugh because we can affect them. If people want to incorporate humor in their presentations, then they have to be very open and vulnerable. They must be able to make fun of themselves. There is no room for ego when it comes to a lot of humor. And humor is not only in the content – is a matter of timing. A great orator funny can make people laugh by the way she talks, looking head, or facial expressions. And he n ‘There’s nothing funnier than the break right at the exact time right.
Julie: Connie sounds like you absolutely love what you do

Connie: It could not be a better job the world to me. To be able to give people the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. The motivation to have the confidence and attitude necessary to be courageous power to change. And then be able to laughter – and some of my viewers have not laughed in a long, long time – it’s pure heaven.
Connie, thank you very much for sharing. Your life experiences and recognition of your talents at an early age and put them to good use is inspiring. It is clear that not only were you born to be a speaker funny, but you used your comic talent to motivate and empower others. I’m sure that’s why hearing after hearing that you are not only a motivational speaker amazing – but he laughed out loud funny – and so focus on life, relationships, business and human nature., motivational speaker and master of ceremonies Connie Podesta is known for his incredible ability to “bridge the gap” and to take people where they are now to where they should be to achieve the results they deserve.Connie want and is a motivation award-winning speaker, author, therapist organization, TV / Radio personality, business coach and leading expert in the psychology of human behavior as it relates to the management of change, sales strategies, leadership skills, relationships and developing successful teams.
cartoon is usually a magazine which is composed of works of art coupled with dialogue and regularly includes a concise narrative style. The first comic book existed in 1934 in the United States, the reprinting of cartoons before in daily newspapers, which had established a large number of tales of the features that are now used in comics in the world today. The comic book term emerged because the original book has been reprinted using comic books, but whatever the name, they are not always funny humor everyday, most modern books contain comic drama or dark stories or to reveal the unpleasant side of life is included in the stories of superheroes or stories about normal citizens.
A comic book is a magazine page 32 which is about 7 by 10 inches in size. Each page is usually divided into about 6 panels. The panels are about 2 by 4, or 3 by 3.
In the book, page 32, there may be as little as 80 panels as much as 220 panels. The panel size is a method that the artist depicts the passage of time. Small panels are used to show that time flies when large panels are used to depict that time passes more slowly. The panel first full page of comics is the cover page and is used to define the opening events of the story. This page contains the title of the story and the name of the writer, designer, colorist and Letters.

The new cartoon is one of the cheapest types of magazines to buy. However, if you are a collector of comics, then the collector may pay much higher prices for comics collection again. A good collector will do some research online to learn about comic books which are sold and at what price. The comic has a strong customer following and loyal. The collector is not only informed about the fair market price for comic books but he is also familiar with the stories and the history of events in the lives of characters

Many retailers of comic books are open Later in the evening. BD are being released Wednesday of each week in order to have the opening hours of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to allow consumers and collectors the opportunity to buy new versions after working hours.
Comic books

hold or appreciate in value over time as a collector can sell them after reading. Comics are more valuable if the new condition is maintained. Any buyer of comics would be wise to store their comics in a bag of comics with a board.
There are some pricing guides that are heavily relied upon in determining the value of comics. These guides include catalog Street Standard and more comics. These guides provide comic collection with prices for different conditions and the development milestones of the plot or character.
